Every Sunday we are helping kids build a Biblical foundation during some of the most formative years of their lives. CMC Kids is designed to be safe, engaging, age-appropriate, and centered on Jesus.

When kids are safe, known, loved, and excited to be at church, families are able to encounter Jesus together.

ONE HOUR. TWICE A MONTH. A REAL DIFFERENCE.

A typical serving commitment is one hour, twice a month. Your time helps kids feel welcomed, build relationships, and grow in their faith. You become a familiar face who reminds them they are loved and that they belong. We’ll provide training, guidance, and ongoing support so you feel prepared for your role. All Dream Team members ages 18 and older complete a background check before serving.

This is a chance to meet our team, learn more about CMC Kids, and explore the different ways you can get involved—from welcoming families at check-in to caring for our youngest kids or helping in a classroom.
We’ll share what serving looks like, answer your questions, and help you find a place that fits your gifts and interests. You don’t have to have it all figured out to come! Whether you’re ready to join the Dream Team or simply want to learn more, we’d love to connect with you and share how you can help kids know Jesus and grow in their faith.

Do I need experience working with kids?
No experience is needed! We’ll help you learn your role and feel comfortable serving alongside our team.
How often would I serve?
We’ll talk through the serving schedule and your availability to find a rhythm that works for you and the team.
Do I have to teach?
No! There are plenty of ways to serve, including welcoming families at check-in, caring for babies, and helping with classroom activities. We’ll help you find a role that fits your gifts.
What if i don't know where I want to serve?
That’s exactly what Come & See is for! You’ll meet the team, explore the different areas, and ask questions to help you discover where you might fit.
What happens after Come & See?
If you’re interested in taking the next step, we’ll connect with you about a role and get a day on the calendar for you to shadow a classroom. You’ll experience what serving looks like and try it out before deciding if it’s the right fit. We’ll walk you through what’s needed to get started, with time to think and ask questions along the way!

No! Come & See is simply an opportunity to learn more. There’s no pressure or commitment to join—just come explore!
Do I need a background check?
Yes! All Dream Team members ages 18 and older need a background check before serving in Kids Ministry. Our team will walk you through the process.
